Steam Sales Dates Leaked

The dates for the next three Steam sales have been leaked and confirmed, eliminating the need to guess when the highly anticipated events will take place.
Three more Steam Sales are almost upon us, with a Halloween, Autumn and Winter sale all falling before Christmas.
The dates for the next three Steam Sales have leaked online, and developers have confirmed their validity.
Steam Halloween Sale: October 26, 2017 – November 1, 2017
Steam Autumn Sale: November 22, 2017 – November 28, 2017
Steam Winter Sale: December 21, 2017 – January, 2018
That's a dangerous number of opportunities to part ways with your paycheck this holiday season (as per usual.)
That means the next chance you have to get your hands on some hugely discounted video games is October 26, with deals expected to begin at around 6pm GMT.
However, it’s worth noting that Valve hasn’t officially confirmed these sales, so we recommend taking this leak with due caution – regardless of what developer sources are saying – for now.
The Steam Halloween Sale is less than a week away, so players should expect to see discounted prices for horror games. However, if Valve continues the trend seen in past editions of the Steam Halloween Sale, gamers will also be able to pick up some titles outside the horror genre for cheap prices. This means that for those who were thinking of buying a game on Steam, it would be a good idea to hold off for a few days just in case the title you are thinking of purchasing is included in the Steam Halloween Sale.
Games that will be included in the Steam Autumn Sale, which covers the wallet-breaking Black Friday, and the Steam Winter Sale are a bit harder to predict. However, traditionally, the Steam Summer Sale and the Steam Winter Sale apply discounts to most, if not all, of the online platform’s catalog, which should make a lot of gamers very happy heading into 2018.
The Steam Summer Sale was the last one launched by Valve, and it highlighted virtual reality through a $50 discount on the HTC Vive VR headset, which came with a $50 Steam gift card.
The end of the Steam sale, however, also saw a massive Steam ban wave that affected 40,000 cheating accounts. This is because cheaters purchased copies of games for cheap prices through several accounts and used them to test which hacks from the ones that they are developing will be able to bypass the Valve Anti-Cheat system.
Hopefully, the same thing does not happen with the upcoming Steam sales, but don’t hold your breath for it.
